As Senior Director of Spa, Salon & Fitness at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Shannon Stringert oversees the creation, customization and delivery of a world-class spa experience at Sahra Spa, Salon & Hammam. In his role, Stringert develops and maintains all spa, salon, retail and fitness offerings to uphold The Cosmopolitan’s commitment to modern luxury services. This includes the supervision of recruitment, training, and performance of a staff of 120 as well as creating a unique and distinctive menu of services and amenities for guests.

Prior to his current position, Stringert enjoyed a successful six-year run with Caesars Palace Las Vegas including a pivotal role as the director of spa operations at Qua Baths & Spa. In this role, he selected and introduced innovative spa services to the treatment menu, several of which were presented in the U.S. for the first time. Under his leadership, Qua Baths & Spa earned several esteemed accolades including multiple awards from SpaFinder and being ranked as the top spa in Las Vegas in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2013 Reader’s Pool of Top 100 Resort Spas in the U.S.

Throughout his career, Shannon has been the recipient of several prestigious awards. Most recently he received the Spa Director of the Year Award for 2018 by the Las Vegas Spa Association for his outstanding leadership and dedication to the industry.  Other accolades include receiving the Spa Manager Dedication Award from the LVSA and named a Manager of the Year Award Finalist by the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association in 2011. In 2010, he received the Rising Star Award by the Las Vegas Business Press, and in 2009 was named Favorite Spa Manager by SpaFinder International.

Stringert has a true passion for fitness and teaches indoor cycle and the Lagree Fitness Method within the local community.
