LVSA Members Hike for Charity
Las Vegas, NV. March 16, 2014 – The Las Vegas Spa Association (LVSA) held their 4th annual charity event called the “Cancer Climb.” Members of “Team LVSA” loaded a bus and headed to the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area for a one hour hike. There were plenty of rocks on the trail but “hike” might be a strong word to describe this stroll through the most beautiful part of Las Vegas.
The event raised proceeds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The mission of the (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The event was Co-Chaired by Jennifer Lohman (Bally’s) and Matt Gallagher (New York New York) who led a group of 35 participants from LVSA spa and vendor member, friends and family.
LVSA Board Chair, Jennifer Lynn stated, “This was another great LVSA event that helps our organization remember what is truly important and how we all can make a difference. It was important, easy and a lot of fun!” The event raised over $3000 and still counting.
