survey photo#1Las Vegas, NV. August15, 2014 – The Las Vegas Spa Association (LVSA) will hold the 5th Annual LVSA Spa Survey on Friday, October 3rd, 2014 at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas. Once again LVSA Board Member Liz Lesser and Board Chair Jennifer Lynn will host the event for the biggest and best spas in the world.

The resort hotel spa setting in Las Vegas is like no other. Visitors expect to have an experience that is unique to the city. A luxury spa visitor to Las Vegas has an expectation of service that is unsurpassed in the destination spa world.  The annual LVSA Spa Survey has become an important part in the improved operations for over 30 Las Vegas area resort spa locations.

There were approximately 39 million visitors to Las Vegas last year. They had access to the largest number of world class destination spas anywhere.

Las Vegas, NV. May 8, 2014 – The Las Vegas Spa Association (LVSA) held their 2014 Spring Social hosted by the Spa and Salon at The Mirage.  The poolside event was supported by sponsors; Lalicious, Coola, Ageless Aesthetics and WELLBEATS.

The vendor sponsors provided mini treatments and product displays in the poolside cabanas. Members of LVSA Board entertained and raffled vendor prize baskets for the gathering of LVSA spa members.

LVSA Board Chair, Jennifer Lynn thanked the host Stephanie Doud and her spa staff and stated, “This was another great event that helps celebrate our 12th Anniversary in 2014. The LVSA has truly set the standard for local spa organizations.”

Las Vegas, NV. March 16, 2014 – The Las Vegas Spa Association (LVSA) held their 4th annual charity event called the “Cancer Climb.” Members of “Team LVSA” loaded a bus and headed to the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area for a one hour hike. There were plenty of rocks on the trail but “hike” might be a strong word to describe this stroll through the most beautiful part of Las Vegas.

The event raised proceeds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The mission of the (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The event was Co-Chaired by Jennifer Lohman (Bally’s) and Matt Gallagher (New York New York) who led a group of 35 participants from LVSA spa and vendor member, friends and family.

LVSA Board Chair, Jennifer Lynn stated, “This was another great LVSA event that helps our organization remember what is truly important and how we all can make a difference. It was important, easy and a lot of fun!” The event raised over $3000 and still counting.

Las Vegas, NV, December 5, 2013 – The Las Vegas Spa Association (LVSA) held their year end Spa Director’s Social at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on the Las Vegas strip. The event was highlighted with the presentation of the 2013 LVSA Awards.

Shawn Granito, Associate Spa Director at Canyon Ranch won the Spa Manager Dedication Award; Lu Costigan from Coola was voted Outstanding Member and Jennifer Lohman the Spa Director at Bally’s was presented with the Bill Ochoa Humanitarian Award.

The Spa Director of the Year Award was presented to Stephanie Doud from The Mirage. The award is presented each year to the spa director who exemplifies what it means to be a professional. Ms. Doud has been an LVSA Board member for over six years and consistently supported the Association. She has been recognized for being a model for spa service excellence in Las Vegas.
