2016 LVSA Awards
Las Vegas, NV, December 15, 2016 – This was an outstanding evening for the Las Vegas Spa Association (LVSA) and the largest most luxurious spas in the world. The LVSA held their yearend Awards Night at the Sayers Club at the SLS Las Vegas home of the new Away Spa at the W Hotel.
Nicole Halverson, Spa Director at the Mirage was presented with the Bill Ochoa Humanitarian Award for her support of the LVSA and co-chairing both the Cancer Climb for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the “Tough Love” exercise class benefiting NextStep Fitness.
Sasha Burney from Lalicious won the vendor Award for Outstanding Member. Sasha was honored for her long time support of the LVSA and efforts at annual charity events for the past several years.
Lynn Durkin from Bally’s spa got a hug and kiss from her husband Ralph after being named the winner of the Spa Manager Dedication Award in recognition for her commitment in the workplace and support of her peers. Lynn’s humility, hard work and perpetual smile inspires everyone.
Adriana Alvarez an all-star MVP from the South Point spa won the 2016 Spa Professional Award. She was named in recognition for her hard work and commitment to supporting the staff and guests at her spa. Her dependability makes her the “go to person” on staff for everyone.
Tammi Furce from the Bellagio spa was an overwhelming choice for Spa Director of the Year for her support of her peers. Her experience, attitude, leadership and candor were noted in her constant willingness to support fellow spa directors, managers and staff.
