Michelle believes that her background in both team sports and art have been crucial to her success in launching the recreation and expansion of the most high-profile hotel spa in the country, while managing a team of 400 with calm and clarity.
When MGM Mirage’s Treasure Island opened in 1993, she started as a spa receptionist. By 1998 she joined the management team at the Spa at TI and began one of the hotel company’s first in-house training programs for massage therapists and aestheticians.
In 2000 Michelle became the Spa Director at Bellagio. She simultaneously managed 400 employees while overseeing the opening of the new 65,000 square foot Spa Bellagio in 2004.
